Q's for my Canadian sister

Here are my Q's for that crazy ff'in Davison chick from Cowtown:

1. What would you miss most about Canada, beside your relatives & friends, when you come live in the NL?

2. What is it that makes me a 'brother' to you? Don't ask this to make me feel good about me but just because I want to know.

3. Since you didn't answer when I asked you in some blog. ;-) What would you like me to send out to cowtown that you miss from the NL?

4. What is your favourite season and please explain why?

5. How many times a month/year are you wasted on alcohol and what is your poison? If not wasted...what is your fav beverage?

Canagal's Q's vs. Bigbro's A's

1. We met via snail mail waaaayyy back when there was no such thing as email. Why did you want to get in contact with me?

At first it was because Dennis wanted you to know who he became friends with. And I was corresponding with a total of 14 people in 9 or 10 different countries back than and I liked doing that. You are the only one that stood the test of time and friendship... When I first met you in snailmailland and on the phone I guess the spark sparked and I got to know you a bit more. I enjoyed knowing you and telling you about me and my life and read and hear about yours. 1991 was the highlight in our friendship because that was the first time we met IRL.

2. What is the weirdest dream that you have had/remember? Please give details.

I hardly ever remember my dreams. The wierdest dream I remember is the one where my mother died. I had that dream 3x before Romy was born. It was all so real to me that I woke up crying. I was told that men do have that dream sometimes before a big change in their life. Like becoming a father. You become a parent yourself and it could feel like not being a child yourself anymore AKA not having your mother anymore. Strange thing, the brain!

3. What is the worst thing you did as a child that your parents do not know about. What would happen if you told them about it now?

I was the cute kid. ;-) Haha! The worst thing I did as a child was that I set fire to a very large field near the centre of my hometown. The field now has some 80 to 100 houses on it so...THAT BIG!
Nothing would happen if I would tell them now. Well, I guess they would laugh about it because in the end no harm was done. Except for those poor grass plants that died in the accident.

4. When did you have your first "real" kiss? With whom? How did it happen?

Well, my first real kiss. let me think. Yes! That was with a girl with an all Dutch name: Willeke
We were in Luxemburg (my parents, brother and me) for the summerholiday. Somewhere in the end 1980's. And since I was the shyguy I never had a girlfriend and now got attention from this girl. It felt great. Attention from a girl. And than we kissed at one day. How? Well, we both opened our mouth and out came the... Haha! Er... I guess on the park bench. She was with her head lying on my lap (face up!) and we kissed.

5. You are stuck on an island - and only have the choice between 2 types of music: country and ska. What music would you choose and why?

I would always choose SKA! Unless Shania will come with the package to sing to me live on that island. If you know what I mean, notch notch wink wink! Ska is what my musical hero sang. Beside reggae.
I always had a love for Reggae and Ska and one of the first albums, if not THE first album, I got was Bob Marley's legend.
