I have multiple versions of songs. The only one that's not exactly the one you requested (Bette Midler's version) but it is the song you wanted.
You can try them and download the way you already did before.
The songs are in the CanaGal folder. The last file in the folder is the list with requests. I had to make it an mp3 file to have it listed in the folder on Streamer. After downloading and unzipping you can change the extion back to txt.

Jazz & Blues Festival

Little Louis in action on another gig

Been to the Jazz & Blues Festival here in my hometown. Nothing big and fancy but live music in the café's, bars and clubs. Artists like Left Hand Freddy and http://www.littlelouis.com/ .
My dad came along. I invited him to go to the movies on Fathersday but it's not that great what is in theaters now and in the near future so we changed plans to this. We both love blues music and try to go to the J&B festival every year. Next to our movietheather we have what we think is a great bar 'The Hofplein Theatercafé' with movies and music as theme (Blues Brothers/ Rolling Stones/Marilyn Monroe (Bow River?) pictures on the wall. Guitars on the wall. Etcetera)

At the end of the evening I bought me and my dad a copy of Little Louis' cd Hangin'in the Alley. Packed in a vinyl cover for the old feeling of Blues music. When Louis starts playing one of his guitars he starts climbing into the mic and rocks away. We had a great time!

Resetting my music collection

Have been collecting musix for years and have been turning it all into mp3 since mp3 started but now I have sooooo many cd's lying around that I can't recall on what cd is what song.
Now I've taken up the plan to copy them all to my computer harddisk and select all that I want to keep so I can rotate them in my streamer which I am not gonna mention in this blog.

My streamer is a webbased jukebox where you can listen to your own music over the internet (as Canagal already knows). I will also burn the residue to DVD to reduce the volume of my collection somewhat. Maybee I can send my eurotrash to C eh N eh D eh!?
But I think it's better to make a selection on DVD because I don't think it's that smart sending 60 to 70 cd's over the snailmail! Could I pleasure you with that my dear?

OK, I live a boring life! But since you got to this point your life is probably more boring! ;-p

Yet another weekend goes by

Yet another weekend gone. And another working week is here.

I say we should try to get ourselves a 2 day working week and a 5 day weekend.
Than we can get used to our pension days before we get to that part!
I wouldn't mind. I can get through the days without any trouble.

De-stress. Maybee that's no English word but we might just have to introduce it to the dictionary.

Not much! I can't thinks straight anymore and I am loaded.
We just had a BBQ and I had a lot of French Rosé Wine (12.5% VOL)
and aparantly too much meat. I am so full that I only want to semi lay on the
couch and watch the Dutch national soccerteam win/loose from Germany.

Sunday - RIP

Tonight, the vet ended our buddy's life.

Sunday is no longer with us.
After a short sickbed he has been given a worthy goodbye to this life.

He had red fluids behind his longs which might indicate a viral infection that is fatal to cats. That's why my parents decided to euthanise Sunday and let him die in peace.

HOW TO SHOWER LIKE A WOMAN

Take off clothes and place them sectioned in the laundry basket According to lights and darks.

Walk to bathroom wearing long dressing gown.
If you see husband along the way, cover up anyexposed areas. Look at your womanly physique in the mirror - make mental note to do More sit-ups/leg-lifts etc.

Get in the shower.

Use face cloth, arm cloth, leg cloth, long loofah, wide loofah and Pumice stone.

Wash your hair once with cucumber and sage shampoo with 43 added vitamins.

Wash your hair again to make sure it is clean.

Condition your hair with conditioner enhanced with grapefruit and mint.

Wash your face with crushed apricot facial scrub for 10 minutes Until red.

Wash entire rest of body with ginger nut and jaffa cake body wash.

Rinse conditioner off hair.

Shave armpits and legs.

Turn off shower.

Squeegee off all wet surfaces in shower.

Spray mould spots with tile cleaner.

Get out of shower.

Dry with towel the size of a small country.

Wrap hair in a super absorbent towel.

Return to bedroom wearing long dressing gown and the hand towel on head.

If you see your husband along the way, cover up all exposed areas.


HOW TO SHOWER LIKE A MAN

Take off clothes while sitting on the edge of the bed and leave in a Pile on the floor.

Walk naked to the bathroom.

If you see your wife along the way, shake willy at her making the "woo-woo" sound.

Look at your manly physique in the mirror. Admire the size of your willy and scratch your bum.

Get in the shower.

Wash your face.

Wash your armpits.

Blow your nose in your hands and let the water rinse it off.

Fart and laugh at how loud it sounds in the shower.

Spend majority of time washing privates and surrounding area.

Wash your bum, leaving those coarse bum hairs stuck on the soap.

Wash your hair.

Make a Shampoo Mohawk.

Wee.

Rinse off and get out of shower.

Partially dry off.

Fail to notice water on floor because curtain was hanging out of bath the whole time.

Admire willy size in mirror again.

Leave shower curtain open, wet mat on floor, light and fan on.

If you pass wife, pull off towel, shake willy at her and make the "woo-woo" sound again.

Throw wet towel on bed.

I KNOW YOU'RE LAUGHING NOW BECAUSE MOST OF IT IS TRUE! ! !

I'm sick of it!

You offer someone a favour and they except. You put time and effort in it and than they tell you that they don't want it anymore!

In this case I offered someone who I will not name here a computer because his is from the darkages.

So I started working on that computer. Reconfiguring, other parts, DVD etc.
Software....

And than he sends me an email that he's OK with his old puter because he knows that he will buy a new one in January.

Next time I'll wait till they ask again when I am ready for it before I even start working on that!!

I think I'll sell it before he changes his mind!

The Reynold girls..?

I personally never heard of them but this song is Canagal's favourite. I think were all past due for regression therapy. Rebirthing and reliving our life as we knew it before we became adults.

That would be cool. But only if we knew it would somehow end where we are now. Because we are (I am) pretty much happy with the place I am in now. Apart from the fact that the growth of my wealth knows it's boundries because the price of life in general grows in a pace that's equal to the growth of my paycheck.

Oh man! There are a few things that I would do different than I did then!

You are a demanding crowd!

Since I told I would post as often as I wanted to and could you keep demanding something new every day... Man!

That's exploiting a problem on both ends I guess. I mean... You demanding another episode out of the life of Bigbro every day tells me that you don't live an exciting live because you're reading about mine. On the other end I have this problem that my life isn't THAT exciting that I can write anything about it every day. Maybee I should pick up on shoplifting again so I can tell you about that?
Or, start using harddrugs so I can tell you what that does to my body? It is hell so I've been told but it's a great way of loosing those extra pounds!

We had a birthday of my sis in law aka my brother's girlfriend Barbara. But before that I slept in till 11 AM! Man, I can't almost believe it myself! I, Mr. I can't sleep in, slept till 11...
Even when I was a baby my mom and dad tried to have me sleep in by puting me to bed real late so they could sleep in sometimes. That never worked! And if I go to bed late for a longer period I just sleep less... I am awake at somewhere between 5:45 and 6:30 AM every day.
If I want to catch up sleeping I have to go to bed in the afternoon. So, that's what I did saturday. And now I slept extra long this morning. Maybe it had something to do with the combination of beer and Ost Frysian Kruiden bitter? If so I'll be getting some more in Germany...

That will be my sleep potion when it works on other occasions too! I feel that I get so much more done if I have some more sleep. But I don't want to go to bed early every day...
So if I can sleep in after some Kruidenbitters I am a happy camper!

It's our weddingday (11 years ago)

So, no post for today.

No nothing to talk about...

Man! And Woman! I am so tired that it feels like I have a very boring life.
Aside from the fact that it's our anniversary tomorrow (Friday August 5th) I feel numb and like nothing cool happens to me.

Like I said in my remark in Canagal's blog I wish I had some more spare money so I could buy a bike and go riding the paths in the woods. Do more things in the great outdoors as far as that works in Holland... We don't have mountains to climb, no real mountins to crush some bones on. As a figure of speach. I was speeding, now I'm bleeding!

Live only gets more expensive every year. Wages don't go up as fast as prices do.
Oil prices through the roof (of ruf as some say), elctricity and gas are up, healthcare is going up and today it was in the news that it will even be more than they said first (+200 euro per head).

I don't have a real misserable life but I feel like we are not free to do whatever we want. Nothing in life is for free and you can't have all. It's all about choices. If you choose this you can't have that. Man, it even gets worse when you're not a kid anymore.

Maybee we can start a fundraiser?

I think I'll have to pick up on some masculin sport to break a sweat and feel the adventure in my blood again like I did in Canda back in 1991. Riding downhill with my hands on the brake going nearly 50km/h. Wow! I would love to relive that again and again! Or, waterskiing in the Honeymoon bay...

OK, let me crawl into my shell and feel sorry for myself now.
It's time for some coffee and a chocolate chip cookie!

Just not my day... I have a splitting headache!

My coworker is on a wellearned 3 week holiday. And now I have to do her routines during that holiday. Come back Jolanda! Not that I don't want her to enjoy her holiday but I don't like working with that crappy piece of software her work is done in.

It is split up in 7 different program's in which you have to transfer files from one to the other.
WHY!? It's 2005 damnit!! Can't they think up software where you do it all in one program?
And all the steps you have to take have been noted in the Holy Bible as I call it!
But, as in real life, the holy bible didn't stand the test of time. Not everything is as it was back then. I guess that's why I have a headache!! You have to check, check and doublecheck each step...ARGGGHH!

Friday is our anniversary. We are happily married for 11 years then!
At least... I am happily married!
We already decided not to go out for dindin on that day. We are a bit tired of all the going to restaurants and themeparks, movietheathers, swimmingpools etcetera since the holiday started 3 weeks ago. I think I'll pick up some chinese on my way home...

I wish I lived in Canada right now then I would still be in bed knowing that it's a civic holiday and that I could have anudder Sunday NOT DOING ANYTHING!!!

If only I could close my eyes right now and doze off... Catch some ZzZzZzZzZzZzZzZzZ...
If I would I would drop 'dead' on my desk I know that for sure!

I think I just have to get my butt into gear and get going on something...
