Jazz & Blues Festival

Little Louis in action on another gig

Been to the Jazz & Blues Festival here in my hometown. Nothing big and fancy but live music in the café's, bars and clubs. Artists like Left Hand Freddy and http://www.littlelouis.com/ .
My dad came along. I invited him to go to the movies on Fathersday but it's not that great what is in theaters now and in the near future so we changed plans to this. We both love blues music and try to go to the J&B festival every year. Next to our movietheather we have what we think is a great bar 'The Hofplein Theatercafé' with movies and music as theme (Blues Brothers/ Rolling Stones/Marilyn Monroe (Bow River?) pictures on the wall. Guitars on the wall. Etcetera)

At the end of the evening I bought me and my dad a copy of Little Louis' cd Hangin'in the Alley. Packed in a vinyl cover for the old feeling of Blues music. When Louis starts playing one of his guitars he starts climbing into the mic and rocks away. We had a great time!
