Blog nr. 51 Sports
Sports. Not too familiar with it. Never do sports, never watch it.
BUT, that was till now... Besides the (almost) daily bikeride to work (20 Km/h average 40 minutes one way trip) I am gonna try swimming!
I hear spandex and speedo are great on a toned body so I am gonna try to get my body toned.
I already am buttless but I have to get rid of the spare tire (which by the way is a great floatation device). As from 8 PM I am a sportsvirgin no more (I did do sports when I was youger but too long ago to let it count). Wish me luck! If I make it out of the pool alive you'll hear from me again! If not...it was great knowing y'all!

Go for it Remco! Once you start seeing and feeling the results of your hard work and perseverence, you won't want to stop!

That's what I fear! ;-)
Since my kids are taking over my home computer anyway I have to start exploring new grounds for passtime so I might as well take up sports, feel fit the rest of my life and stop being tired all the time.
Some of my muscles hurt! Especially the ones in my wrists. I think it's from the pressure under water while making the swimming motion.
things you never thought COULD hurt WILL hurt for the first while. Over time, you won't have localized pain, just general stiffness that a little dose of Vitamin I (ibuprofen) will fix up no problemo. Oh the joys of getting older....
